As Manager Machining, you are responsible for the complete mechanical production at the site. This includes the production segments casting, series production, small series production and welding and surface technology. In this function, you are responsible for the cost-effectiveness in which you actively manage costs and performance to continuously increase productivity. You carry out your organization with clear results orientation, continuously develop the production system and ensure excellent delivery performance. This includes the following tasks: Personal management & organization Discipline and professional leadership of around 160 employees Employee selection and processing taking into account the employee requirement personnel deployment, shift and holiday planning as well as further development of your teams Conducting employee, assessment and development talks and identifying training needs for employee support Ensuring the application of our guide lines Representation of the assembly manager Production and Process Responsibility Ensuring economic, stable and efficient production operations Responsibility for performance, costs, productivity and OEE deriving and implementing measures based on relevant KPIs Participation and possibly guidance of LEAN workshops Further development and optimization of the production system within the framework of projects in close cooperation with Industrial Engineering Resource Management – Coordination of Manufacturing Control Coordination and monitoring of production control and demand-oriented control of foreign production Quality & dates Consistent implementation of all quality guidelines Responsibility for production in accordance with the rules Ensuring the availability of storage parts (ATO process) Ensuring and monitoring of order-related production Industrial safety & environmental protection Responsibility for compliance with all requirements on safety and environmental protection and Implementation of regular training and prevention measures on occupational safety Reporting and remedying existing accident and health hazards and safety deficiencies

Complete degree in mechanical engineering, production engineering or a comparable qualification Knowledge of cutting is absolutely necessary First operational management experience in a manufacturing industrial company Experience in controlling production figures and improvement projects Secure handling of MS Office and ideally SAP (PP/PS) LEAN-Mindset, clear result and cost orientation and cost awareness High problem-solving and decision-making competence Structured, responsibly and vigorously combined with accuracy and care Embossed and solution-oriented communication skills and team skills English knowledge
