The directorate »Personal Management« of the Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft sees itself as a service provider and consultant for all the central and decentralized facilities of Fraunhofer. The ''HR International'' department provides support to the Fraunhofer Institutes on labour law issues and personnel issues related to international personnel deployments, the right of residence and the support of employees abroad.

Advice and support for executives and staff of the Fraunhofer Institutes in matters of international labour law and supplementary legal areas including the right of residence Processing of other relevant legal issues, for example, in the context of employment within the framework of EU funding programmes (e.g. Marie-Skłodowska-Curie) or international mobility programmes, mobile work abroad, moving costs and separation money clarification of basic questions, preparation of legal opinions or Recommendations in this context Examination and design of contracts with representatives Local forces within and outside Europe
