Head of Department for Operational IT Planning and Control (m/f/d)

Construction and management of the unit: You take over the responsible management of the newly-established unit “Operative IT Planning and Control” and are responsible for the technical management and the personnel management and development of the team. IT service management: The planning, monitoring and control of external IT services, including the risks arising therefrom, are your tasks. Contract design: You design and negotiate DORA-compliant IT contracts in cooperation with the purchasing and legal department. Employee development and promotion: In this role, you are responsible for the coaching, the continuous development and assessment of your employees in order to promote their potential in a targeted manner and ensure long-term success. Procurement and inventory: You provide and manage the annual IT budget as well as the procurement of IT systems and services. Cooperation: You work closely with other units and organisations.

Education: You have completed academic studies, ideally in (technical or applied) computer science, economic informatics or industrial engineering or business administration with IT focus or equivalent knowledge and experience. Experiences and knowledge: Multi-annual professional and personal leadership experience in the IT environment can be demonstrated. Expertise: You have sound knowledge of service management, IT planning and contract management and controlling. Personality: With your analytical mindset, you will delight your counterpart, convince with excellent communication skills as well as negotiation skills and a strong team idea. Operation: You have a high problem-solving competence and are able to make the following decisions on the basis of key figures.
