WindMW Service GmbH has been operating a service station on Helgoland since 2014 for the operation of the Meerwind Süd|Ost wind farm, which is about 23 km north of the island. Thus we make a significant contribution to the efficient supply of regenerative offshore wind energy in Germany.

To support our team at the Bremerhaven site as well as for occasional offshore operations on Helgoland, we are looking for an experienced IT administrator w|m|d at the next possible time.

Together with the team, ensure the smooth operation and availability of the local IT infrastructure: You install, configure and maintain the company's soft and hardware, including our networks, server landscape, industry-specific software and reception technology. Before you integrate new software and hardware solutions, use evaluation and thorough testing. In the 1st and 2nd level support, you can help users with soft and hardware problems, advise them on demand and find solutions in a timely manner. You are also responsible for supporting Windows operating systems in server client environments, Microsoft 365 and other applications. As a backup administrator w|m|d, you perform regular data backup, including the creation and maintenance of technical documentation. Our local IT activities coordinate you with our central IT departments, but also with external IT service providers and other business partners.

You have a completed IT training, e.g. a specialist in system integration or IT system electronics w|m|d, or a degree from the IT sector such as computer science or information technology. Your professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure or IT service operations is crucial – with clients, server OS, Microsoft products, networks and also with databases. In dealing with Windows servers, Microsoft cloud services and PC operating systems, as well as in the field of networking, you are practice-tested. You have good English skills in word and writing. In addition to team spirit and willingness to use, you will bring an analytical and networked way of thinking. You are flexible not only in your task, but also when it comes to working occasionally on Helgoland.
