Electrical Automation Engineer - R&D Department (m/f/d)

In our development department, you work on the electrotechnical solutions of tomorrow. You develop innovative electrical concepts, evaluate new technologies and actively promote the further development of our automation and delivery systems.

In addition to conceptual work, you remain close to practice: you work in EPLAN, check new components on customer systems and continuously develop our technical standards. Your holistic view from mechanics to electrical engineering to SPS and digital twins makes you a central interface for product development.

You develop future-oriented electrotechnical concepts for our conveyor and automation systems – standard, safe and energy-efficient. You test market and technology trends, analyze automation components and identify innovations that drive our product portfolio forward. You work closely with key suppliers and integrate new technologies into our development projects at an early stage. You develop our engineering processes and automate e.g. the creation of current schedules and control-relevant documents. You create and advise E-design documents as well as EPLAN standards and templates as the basis for our customer projects. You work in EPLAN to effectively secure your concepts and strengthen our technical standards. You work interdisciplinary with mechanics, PLC development, simulation and assembly and shape system-wide solutions. You are testing new products and components for customer systems and opting for function, safety and efficiency. You will start training documents for our internal academy and train our electrical assembly ladder.

You have successfully completed an engineering degree in the field of electrical engineering or a study in a comparable field You are pleased to contribute strategically and holisticly and to actively shape the future of our automation solutions. You are open to reviewing new products to customer systems and continuously optimizing them. You have a look for a holistic process understanding for automation solutions – from mechanical and electrical design to PLC control to digital twins/simulations In addition to the strategic tasks, you also perform operational activities and control the safe handling of EPLAN. You develop training documents with the focus on electrical engineering for our internal Academy and take the training of our electrical assembly ladder. Ideally, you already have experience in the e-construction of sorting systems for hanging and lying goods.
