In addition to supplying all production areas, the logistics and sampling department in the field of supply chain management ensures a representative sampling of the materials. In addition to the loading and unloading of trucks, containers and wagons, the pressing of recycled copper materials also belongs to the range of tasks. To this end, we rely on an extensive and modern fleet of excavators, wheel loaders, rams and tractors. The basis for a reliable analysis of the plurality of primary and secondary tube materials is the use of various sampling methods and aggregates. New material classes and the need for productivity and quality improvements require a continuous development of our processes.

Industrial engineer

You take over the technical leadership of the Altkupfer Estimate Commission and ensure that control mergers are efficiently planned and carried out on time. With your trained look, you evaluate materials, check analysis results and weights on plausibility, and initiate targeted measures in case of deviations or improvement potentials. Communication is your strength – you are the central contact person for business colleagues as well as for supplier and customer representatives on issues relating to appointments, sampling and evaluation data. You always have a look at the treasures in the old copper area and regularly compare them with historical data and empirical values. You are actively engaged in exchange with other locations – whether for material qualities, market developments, comparative estimates or challenges with suppliers. You are driving forward the development and maintenance of a modern database for old copper evaluation – and you are also focusing on innovative technologies such as AI. With your organizational talent, you conduct projects independently, coordinate cross-departmental communication and ensure that time and cost plans are complied with.

You have a degree in engineering, ideally with the field of metallurgy / process engineering, materials engineering or chemical engineering You bring experience in project management and find pragmatic solutions for operational challenges and economic issues. Technical understanding in process engineering and the safe handling of SAP S/4HANA, MS Office and production systems such as SIMS or MES belong to everyday life. First leadership experience and basic knowledge in labour and environmental law complete your profile – you are responsible and forward-looking. Your English is safe to negotiate – whether in writing or in conversation, you communicate confidently. Communication strength, self-employment and a strong awareness of quality and responsibility characterize you. You meet informed decisions, set up your goals and keep an overview of complex planning.
