Advising the top management of our clients in the field of product costs in the automotive & industrial goods sectors Head of Strategic Cost & Value Engineering Initiatives with Fields of Action in Technical & Commercial Analysis of cost structures and cost drivers across products and parts lists as well as deriving clear, feasible savings potential. Implementation of part price analyses including structured integration of suppliers (e.g. by moderated workshops). Building resilient Should-Cost and Target-Cost models including calculation system, assumptions and benchmarks as the basis for negotiations. Support of delivery-related workstreams – e.g. supplier calculation, negotiation preparation – to realize short-term and sustainable potentials. Support in the project acquisition and interface function for modularization and portfolio/product strategy.

Successfully completed university studies, preferably in the field of (economic)engineering, business management or a comparable technical discipline. At least five years of professional experience in the industrial environment (OEM, Tier‐1) and/or management consulting – ideally in areas such as industrial engineering, production planning, industrialization, procurement or supplier management – with clear “hands‐on” exposure to cost structures. Detectable expertise in product cost optimization, part cost analysis and derivation as well as implementation of effective measures. Finded understanding of manufacturing processes and cost drivers (e.g. process steps, cycle times, machine hour sets, overheads, logistics and transport costs). Embossed analytical skills, a structured way of working as well as the ability to advance themes independently and to represent them confidently in client situations. Strong communication and moderation capabilities, especially in the context of workshops and interaction with suppliers. A resilient network in industry to support acquisition and business development activities is advantageous Very good expression in German and English as well as high readiness to travel in Germany and abroad
