The company is one of the world's leading manufacturers of human proteins and develops and produces human proteins from blood plasma and human cell lines.

Our team in Langenfeld consists of 51 employees in the fields of marketing, medicine, sales, logistics, finance and IT and provides reliable care for patients with partially life-threatening diseases in Germany. In close interaction, we support our customers and help ensure that vital medicines are available at any time. Our nine-headed external service team is the interface to our customers and is optimally accompanied by our experienced colleagues from the fields of marketing and medicine. Our colleagues in Austria and Switzerland are actively supported in medical enquiries and marketing. For our headquarters in Langenfeld we are now looking for a Head (m/w/d) Business Unit Immunology. The position is directly subordinate to the management and is responsible for strategic and operational management of the Business Unit Immunology at the Langenfeld site. They run a team with 8 employees in the field of marketing and medicine. Strategic planning: development and implementation of long-term strategic plans as well as short-term tactical measures to achieve corporate goals. Team leadership and development: Head of the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies and tactics as well as the medical department in the field of non-interventional studies and medical enquiries in compliance with the legal framework. Market analysis and competition observation: Continuous analysis of market conditions, identification of market opportunities and risks, and adaptation of business strategies accordingly. Product management: monitoring the entire production cycle, from market launch to market penetration to market maturity and saturation. Budget and resource management: creation and monitoring of the budget, ensuring the efficient use of resources and compliance with financial requirements. Compliance and regulatory requirements: ensuring compliance with all relevant legal and regulatory requirements as well as internal guidelines and codes of conduct. Customer and stakeholder management: building and maintaining relationships with important customers, opinion leaders (COLs), patient organisations and other stakeholders. Innovation Management: Promoting innovation and continuous improvement within the business unit, identifying and implementing new business opportunities. Reporting and Communication: Regular reporting to the management of the progress of the business unit, communication of goals, strategies and results to the team and other relevant departments. Risk management: identifying potential risks for the business unit and developing risk mitigation strategies.

Completed scientific or medical studies. Extensive experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry. Funded knowledge of immunology and the development and marketing of biopharmaceuticals are advantageous. Confidence with the regulatory framework in healthcare. Ability to develop long-term visions and translate them into concrete, feasible strategies. Multiannual leadership experience in a comparable position. Experience in cooperation with medical professionals and patient organisations. Excellent knowledge in marketing, sales and medical affairs. Excellent communication and leadership skills. High self-motivation and the ability to inspire and guide a team. Flowing English knowledge in word and writing.
