The Stadtwerke Bad Bramstedt GmbH is a classic cross-connected company and the central energy service provider for the Kurstadt Bad Bramstedt as well as the adjacent region in Schleswig-Holstein. Around 30 employees ensure daily supply of electricity, natural gas, heat and drinking water in the context of municipal services. As a vertically integrated company, the municipal works cover the energy supply chain from production to distribution; the network operation takes place via the 100% subsidiary Stadtwerke Bad Bramstedt Netz GmbH. In the course of the strategic development – in particular in the context of municipal heat planning, the expansion of renewable energies and the progressive digitization – a stable and predictively controlled financial function continues to gain importance. At the same time, the opportunity is to develop existing structures and processes in accounting together with a dedicated and harmoniously cooperating team and to sharpen organization. Against this background, in the course of succession, we are looking for a dedicated leadership personality as Senior Account Manager (m/w/d) Managing financial accounting strategically and operationally – managing figures – accompanying energy transition

Technical and organizational management of the 4-member team including operational support in daily business – daily changing flight altitude Direct reporting line to the management as well as close interconnection with the control unit (e.g. in economic and liquidity planning) Responsible creation of the HGB annual and activity accounts as well as guaranteeing fiscal regularity Analysis and development of accounting processes and systems to increase transparency and efficiency Estimated liquidity management and monitoring and control of all cash transactions Building and further development of modern reporting and analysis instruments (e.g. Power BI) to support corporate governance Central contact person for auditors, banks and authorities in close coordination with the management

Qualification: Continuing training on the account holder:in (IHK) or a comparable professional qualification through studies and/or relevant professional practice Financial and accounting experience, in particular in the preparation of annual accounts according to HGB, as well as security in accounting and tax issues Sectoral reference: experience in the energy sector (e.g. in an energy supplier, network operator, in energy consulting, in auditing or tax consultancy companies with energy personnel or in adjacent areas of the energy industry) Leadership & potential: Interest in taking responsibility for a manageable team and accompanying people in their development – leadership experience is welcome, but no prerequisite Working methods: Structured, careful and solution-oriented approach and a good understanding of financial relationships and processes Communication: Open and binding communication and joy in cooperation with management, controlling and external partners IT affinity: experience in handling ERP systems (ideally Microsoft Dynamics Navision) as well as very good Excel knowledge; Interest in developing modern reporting tools (e.g. Power BI)

In this position you take a central role with direct proximity to the management. You are responsible for the financial and accounting of a regionally anchored energy supplier and develop structures and processes in accounting. At the same time, you work in a manageable, dedicated team and combine management responsibility with operational cooperation – for example in the case of final work or in the case of more complex accounting questions.
