Building sound knowledge about our processes, products and data sources for deriving data-driven knowledge Identification of relevant ML and LLM applications, implementation of pilot projects, implementation in production and ongoing monitoring (e.g. for identifying model drift) Ensure that ML and LLM solutions create a measurable business value, are scalable and can be flexibly adapted to different products and functions Optimization of ML models and data pipelines with regard to performance, model versioning and experiment control Continuous observation of current developments in data science and application of innovative approaches to the further development of our ML and LLM strategy Development of Large Language Model (LLM)-based use cases by data analysis, prompt engineering and model adaptation

An excellent university degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or a comparable subject area as well as at least 2–3 years of professional experience in Data Science or Analytics Detectional experience in transferring domain knowledge into machine learning projects and in the development of complete ML pipelines – from data processing to implementation in productive environments Experience and interest in building and further development of LLM Use Cases Very good programming skills in Python or R as well as SQL Funded understanding of ML algorithms and methods – both classic methods (e.g. regression, decision trees) and advanced techniques (e.g. deep learning, GANs, LLMs) Experience with version control systems (Git), experiment tracking (MLflow), feature engineering, model evaluation and development of ML pipelines Remarkable: knowledge in Tableau and experience with A/B testing German language skills (min. C1 level) in word and writing are a must-have
