Within the framework of a structured and around two-year training program, you will be prepared and comprehensively incorporated step by step for this responsible activity in the technical control center of the subway. There you monitor and control railway operations and automatic operation using modern SCADA, remote control and control systems. You ensure the availability of the energy supply systems as well as the route and tunnel infrastructure and keeps in mind, among other things, rectifier plants, substations, transformer stations and power rail systems. Switching operations in the medium-voltage, low-voltage and direct-current network are carried out in a routined manner, document these and coordinately planned circuits for construction, maintenance and maintenance measures. Analyze alarms, interference messages and operating events, initiate emergency measures and support the rapid recovery of automated underground operation after disruption. In your role, you ensure the smooth communication between the switchgear, operating control, technical areas, standby services and external partners, and you ensure and coordinate the interference in running operations.

You have a completed training for masters or technicians in electrical engineering or a comparable qualification. First professional experience in the operation of technical infrastructure, in a control center, control room or comparable business-critical environment you could already collect. You can analyze technical relationships securely and keep an overview even in challenging situations. A high level of sense of responsibility, a sense of decision and reliability characterizes your work.
