At the Untertürkheim plant we develop & build what drives the cars in the future: electric drives, high-voltage batteries, motors & gearboxes.

In our team we analyze the reliability of new drive projects. From the start of the project, to the finished product and beyond, we take care that the drives will prove to the customer.

Within the development phase, we calculate the reliable reliability for critical components and the entire drive system from the test data. The proof that the new drives are more reliable than the predecessors requires the project management for quality approval. In customer use, the team monitors the reliability of components through statistical analyses. We use data from customer vehicles and workshops to prepare suitable management decisions.

These tasks come to you, among others: Active cooperation in securing the reliability of electric and hybrid drives, as well as motors Evaluation of tests with regard to reliability Analysis of the failure probability of components in customer hands Design of presentations for management decisions for bodies Self-organization and moderation of voting rounds Possible programming of smaller tools for data processing (e.g. Excel, Python, etc.)

The activity can begin from September 2026.

• Course of Engineering/Economics or Computer Science/Data Science • Good knowledge of German and English in Word & Writing • Funded knowledge with MS Office, especially Excel, Word & PowerPoint • Team-capable, value-estimating & enthusiastic • Self-motivation, self-initiative & communication skills • Presentation of technical relationships • Structured & methodological work • Interest in product development of drive units & in reliability technology Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
