The cardiology clinic has three cardiac catheter laboratories and a hybrid surgery, in which minimally invasive interventions take place on the aortic flap (TAVI) and the treatment of the AV flaps (TEER), as well as the implantation of pacemakers and ICDs. All possibilities for non-invasive diagnostics are available (echocardiography, spiroergometry, cardio MRI and the cardio CT together with the radiology department). Various university ambulances are conducted (sufficiency, cardiomyopathy, EMAH, PAH). The department is, among other things, a training centre of the DGK for the additional qualification “cardiac magnetic resonance tomography”.
