Senior Department Manager Environment, Health & Safety (m/f/d)

You guide your team professionally and disciplinefully with a holistic, multi-value-oriented approach. This includes the leadership of the EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) team with personnel responsibility for the Energy Management, Environmental Protection, Health and Safety teams with personnel responsibility for short-term and long-term efficiency improvement and quality improvement. You take responsibility for the further development of the company's EHS topics and support of the company's operational areas. You regularly report to the direct leadership and management and ensure transparency and control. You are responsible for monitoring compliance with laws, standards and guidelines related to your responsibility and to develop, improve and establish corporate standards. You are a contact person with all the company's EHS concerns and as a contact person for the topics EHS in the context of reporting to CSRD and performing tasks in the context of reporting. You co-ordinate communication with supervisory authorities, representations of interests and professional associations and work with the company's crisis management as well as with the topic of sabotage protection.

Complete technical, scientific or business studies or comparable training with multi-year professional experience with the ability to understand and apply technical concepts, systems and processes Multiannual leadership experience in the field of EHS as well as experience in the function and guidance of a staff office Experience in cooperation in interdisciplinary occupational safety, health and environmental teams Basic qualification in the field of occupational safety with willingness to acquire a specialist in occupational safety or qualification as a specialist in occupational safety Basic qualifications in the field of environmental protection as an auditor for quality, environmental, occupational safety and energy management systems or ideally qualifications as an integrated instructor (immission protection, water protection, waste) Experience in handling security obligations according to the law of dangerous goods ideally trained Professional experience in international CSR reporting Experience in communication with authorities/associations and crisis management Routine with MS Office and Treatable German and English
