Contract & Claim Manager – Large-scale infrastructure projects for the SuedLink project (m/f/d)

You are professional in dealing with complex contracts, think ahead and act determined: In contract and claim management for the most important infrastructure projects in Germany, you are responsible for implementing them in a contractually clean, economically efficient and strategically secure manner. With expertise, enforcement and team spirit, you ensure that contractual and economic interests are optimally represented. Specifically, you analyze contract works with depth, identify risks at an early stage and develop solutions that are legally resilient and economically thought out. Follow-up requirements meet with a clear line and sovereign negotiation competence – in close coordination with technology, purchasing, law and project management. Procurement procedures, high-volume purchase contracts and demanding contract negotiations accompany you with a preventive view of risk potentials – and the claim to achieve sustainable results before problems arise. You understand legal, economic and technical requirements as an overall picture and advance the project progress with pragmatism and solution orientation.

You can provide a completed university degree with legal, economic or (construction) technical background – alternatively an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in contract and after-sales management. After that, you have collected multi-year practice in contract & claim management – preferably in the context of large-volume infrastructure and Construction projects. You possess profound knowledge of contract law (including VOB, BGB, ideally FIDIC) as well as in risk assessment and follow-up processing. Their very good IT skills include, in particular, MS Office, MS Project, I2 and CD Enterprises, and also practice in dealing with EPLASS and Signavio. You control the German and English language in a safe manner, are ready for travel and mobile (guide certificate class B), in particular for the presence at the construction site, in order to be able to clarify project contents, structural and contract topics on site with all participants.
