Staff breakfast service (m/f/d)

Breakfast service is available in the restaurant Pinus in the morning, in the adjacent breakfast areas and as required in the event and bar area. You make sure that our guests start well into the day – attentive, friendly and with a clear view for quality and atmosphere. You prepare the breakfast area, insert tables, control Mise en Place, dishes, glasses, cutlery, napkins, coffee and beverage stations, as well as all things that are important for a quiet breakfast run. Before you start, make sure that the room is clean, complete and welcoming. During breakfast you receive and attend our guests, accompany them to the table, explain our breakfast concept if necessary, pick up orders and serve food and drinks. You make sure that coffee, tea, water, juices and other drinks come quickly and carefully to the table. Since our breakfast is served stronger and à la carte shaped, your attention is particularly important. You know if guests need orientation if something is missing or if a table needs to be re-prepared. You work quiet, forward-looking and friendly – even if many guests want to have breakfast at the same time. In addition, you can support the breakfast service as part of events. These include common breakfasts at conferences, welcome coffees, first coffee breaks, small snack and drinks stations, as well as the preparation and care of coffee, tea, water, pastries, fruits, small foods and suitable materials. Especially at seminars, workshops and retreats, a well-prepared morning service is an important part of the event experience. Perspectively, you also enter our planned grave and go breakfast in the bar. This is a fast, high-quality offer for business travellers and guests with little time – for example coffee, drinks, small breakfast components, prepared foods and a clear, well maintained presentation. You are intimately tuned with kitchen, service, reception, banquet and housekeeping. This includes information about reservations, external breakfast guests, meeting groups, allergies, special diets, child wishes or chronological processes. Good communication is crucial in the morning. After breakfast you will take care of cleaning, blanketing, cleaning and preparation for further day-to-day operation. You help to fill up materials, do small ordering work and prepare the transition to lunch, event or day operations cleanly. In short, you are the host:in the first impression of the day – in the breakfast restaurant, in conferences, in coffee breaks and also in perspective at the fast breakfast offer for business travellers.

You have ideally experience in breakfast service, restaurant service, cafe, hotel service, event service or in gastronomy. A training in hospitality or gastronomy is welcome, but not necessarily necessary if you bring your host feeling, reliability and pleasure to the service. It is important to us that you like to work early, be kind to people and are attentive, clear and well organized in the morning. You have a good feeling for cleanliness, order, preparation, speed and a well maintained overall impression. You work carefully, team-oriented and reliable. You realize what guests need before You have to ask for it, and you can stay quiet and friendly even with higher guests. Since our breakfast is not only buffet service, but also a great deal of personal service, orders, drinks, small foods and event formats, you should enjoy contact with guests, advice and clear communication. Good knowledge of German is important and English is helpful. Experience with cash systems, reservations, allergens, coffee service, à la carte breakfast, conference coffee breaks or Grab-and-Go offers is a plus. Above all, you will suit us if you understand the morning as an important host moment and want to help shape the breakfast at Zeppelin Lake with attention, cordiality and quality.
