Working student in the BIM & Digitization unit

We make port: With great passion, we keep running the infrastructure of the Port of Hamburg around the clock. We are more than 1,900 HPA colleagues who drive forward advanced ideas to develop Hamburg's heart and make the port a bit more sustainable every day. The unit “BIM & Digitization” forms the center of competence for the digitization of planning, construction and operation. Our dynamic team of nine BIM managers is responsible, among other things, for the implementation, development and standardization of the BIM method and digital twins, for operating BIM management in projects, as well as the design of further education and network formats. As a central ''BIM-Leitstelle'' we are closely involved in the program BIM.Hamburg (www.bim.hamburg.de) and work in cooperation with the Federal Ministry for Transport (BMV) on the development of federal BIM standards (www.bim-bundesfernstrassen.de). We are looking for you as a working student in our unit BIM & Digitization with up to 19 hours/week. This position shall be fixed for 2 years. Our heart beats for the Port of Hamburg, which connects us!

You support our team in implementing and developing the BIM method in projects and internal processes. You prepare presentations in PowerPoint. Furthermore, you support model checks and provide data in the coordination software. For tasks in project management, you support the team. You carry out literature, data and market research and prepare results structuredly.

You are studying civil engineering or economic engineering or a comparable technical course in the 3rd semester or more advanced. Good IT knowledge, especially in MS Office, you already bring with you; first experiences with CAD or BIM software are a plus, but no need. A careful, structured and self-sponsored way of working distinguishes you. You are communicative, open-minded and bring joy to digital topics and new technologies. You are flexible and can quickly work into new tasks.
