The German Pension Insurance Bund and the German Pension Insurance Knappschaft-Bahn-See are responsible for the dual Bachelor of Laws degree programme at the Social Insurance Department. The focus of activity is on practical teaching. They work with us in a collegial environment and an interdisciplinary team of university teachers. They teach small groups in seminary and prepare students from the German Pension Insurance Federation as well as across the board for their later specialist and leadership tasks. The language is German. It is an activity with an attractive remuneration in an out-of-tariff social insurance employment relationship.

They carry out a scientific teaching in the study area of State Law and, depending on the personal orientation and needs of the field of teaching, take over further modules in the subjects (social) administrative law, public service law, the right of retirement or civil law, and impart cross-disciplinary competences and key qualifications They create multimedia learning units for presence and distance learning and provide cross-disciplinary skills and key skills You create exam tasks, perform exams and evaluate the services They take time for students' needs and help our students develop professionally and personally in a modern learning environment. In addition to the prerequisites for the recruitment of § 19 para. 1, No 1a and para. 2 of the Basic Regulation of the University of Applied Sciences of the Federal Government of Public Administration (GO-HS Bund) and the Regulations on Higher Education Law of the Länder of Berlin and North Rhine-Westphalia: They have the first and second legal state exams, both at least with the ‘satisfactory’ note or with a first legal state exam with at least the ‘satisfactory’ note and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) with at least the ‘satisfactory’ note. They have in-depth knowledge of process law, which can be demonstrated by a relevant focus in master's studies, legal department or professional practice They have a special ability to scientific work, which is demonstrated by the quality of a legal science doctorate (usually at least “magna cum laude”); In addition, you are distinguished by additional scientific achievements or by special achievements in the application or development of scientific knowledge and methods in a multi-year professional practice They have the necessary pedagogical suitability, which is usually demonstrated by a multiannual experience in teaching.
