At the Chair of Functional Materials / Uniklinikum Würzburg / Universität Würzburg (Prof. Dr. Jürgen Groll) we are looking for an experienced one from February 2027 Teamleiter (m/w/d) 20 hours per week | Activity on site | first fixed for two years | Remuneration by TV‐L Would you like to accompany people to work together well, to accept acceptance and to remain in dialogue in a demanding, interdisciplinary environment? You combine well-founded coaching and training skills with a good sense of different people, roles and dynamics? Then we look forward to meeting you. The position is 20 hours per week and is limited to two years. In addition, we would like to express a long-term cooperation. The activity takes place mainly on site at the chair, as personal presence and trustworthy relationships are of central importance for this task. About us The Chair of Functional Materials is part of the newly established Institute of Functional Materials and Bio-Factoryation. Our research is highly interdisciplinar. People with different backgrounds, perspectives and areas of responsibility work together on demanding scientific questions. We are convinced that successful research needs, in addition to technical excellence, a clear communication, a constructive cooperation and a culture in which people meet with respect and at the same level. Parts of our activities are integrated into the newly created research building “Center of Polymers for Life” (CPL). Since our employees will be working at two locations, the conscious design of our communication and cooperation culture is gaining in importance.

In this position, you will accompany our employees and executives across all hierarchical levels in the design of an appraisal, clear and binding cooperation. Together with a trainer already active at the chair, You develop existing offers and provide new impulses for communication, (self-) leadership, team leadership and cooperation. You are not only a pulsator (m/w/d) and a trainer (m/w/d), but also a responsive person and active employee (w/m/d) of our culture. Your tasks include: Conception, development and implementation of training, workshops and development formats on communication, (self-) leadership, team leadership and cooperation Accompanying employees and managers from different disciplines and across different hierarchical levels Support of teams and groups in development and change processes Implementation of individual coaching and needs-oriented consultations Support in the clarification of roles, expectations and communication paths Strengthening a constructive feedback, conflict and interaction culture Cooperation and joint supply development with the already active trainer Takeover of a trusted response function for employees Representation and authenticity of the values of the Chair and the Institute

a completed university degree a well-founded coaching, training or comparable training practical experience in coaching individuals as well as accompanying groups and teams Experience in the design and implementation of training and workshops, in particular in the fields of communication, self-guided, team-leading or cooperation a good understanding of group dynamics, roles and leadership processes the ability to establish trustworthy relationships with people with different professional and personal backgrounds an esteeming, reflected and at the same time clear attitude Joy in team cooperation and the joint development of viable offers willingness to work regularly and reliably on site very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing Experiences in the scientific or university environment as well as in the teaching and support of students are advantageous, but no compelling advancement.
