At the next time, we are looking for Carl Zeiss Spectroscopy GmbH in Jena as a developer (m/w/x) with the following priorities: Your duties Your responsibility lies in the further development and maintenance of our online portal (frontend and backend) and the framework conditions for the secure operation of the platform and its APIs.

In addition to designing and implementing new features in close cooperation with internal stakeholders, the inclusion, prioritization and maintenance of requirements in the backlog (including PO-like activities) is one of your tasks

Support and further development of CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps as well as co-design of system architecture in the cloud environment (container, Kubernetes, databases)

Application of modern DevOps practices to automate infrastructure, deployment and monitoring

Ensuring quality through testing, code reviews and documentation

Successfully completed mathematical and technical university degree (e.g. computer science, engineering, mathematics) or a comparable qualification

Multiannual experience in full stack development (backend & frontend) as well as very good knowledge in C# .NET for backend development

Experience with common UI frameworks (react, angular, blazor or comparable), well-founded knowledge in databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, document databases) and practical knowledge in containerization & orchestration (docker, Kubernetes)

Safe handling of Azure DevOps (building/release pipelines, infrastructure management) as well as knowledge in API design, security and backup of web portals are desirable

Experience in requirements engineering and good knowledge of German and English in word and writing on minimum level B2 are highly appreciated by us

Excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively in the team as well as an independent and proactive way of working with a high degree of self-responsibility round off your profile
