Supplier: Chair and Institute of Machine Elements and System Development The MSE explores the basic structural and tribological behavior of machine elements and forms them in physical models. These models are used to analyse and shape the behaviour of major technical systems and also to investigate MBSE methods as a central element of future industrial product development processes. In this context, the Connected Systems area develops methods for the development of site-specific refuelling strategies for alternatively operated work machines. The requirements of the system interacting with the machines are analyzed and the machines are optimized. For testing, the FutureSite is available as a large system test site. The RWTH is certified as a family-friendly university. RWTH offers a variety of health, counselling and prevention services (e.g. university sports) as part of a university health management. There is a wide range of training and the possibility of obtaining a job ticket for employees and civil servants.
