Number: MER0003VCV Are you looking for an exciting internship at an innovative automotive manufacturer and are interested in our products? Then you are right with us! The Global Market Intelligence department is a central contact point for market research and competition monitoring. Our team is the first point of contact when it comes to sound analysis of the competition – be it current trends, innovative products or strategic developments. In your mandatory practice, you work on central analyses regarding the Mercedes-Benz Cars portfolio around our competitors and their vehicles. You can work with topics such as show cars and concept vehicles, digital solutions in the vehicle (e.g. displays, operating concepts, operating systems, apps), artificial intelligence and future trends. You look at current and especially future vehicles. The information recipients of your knowledge are the strategy areas, marketing, product management, research and development, the planning areas. Your tasks: Creation and evaluation of competitive analyses Research of current market, competition and technology trends Support in the analysis of trade fairs and congresses as well as the compilation of reports Preparation and presentation of your results in presentations and reports Participation in organizing and conducting events around current Mercedes-Benz and – partly exotic – competitive products The activity can begin from March 2026.

Technical, economic or combined economic and technical or technical studies or a comparable course of studies Interest in the automotive industry and future mobility Good knowledge of German and English Individual initiative, team spirit and independent, structured and precise working Analytical thinking and strategic understanding Ability to present complex facts in understandable form Ideally knowledge of Mercedes-Benz vehicles and services as well as relevant other car brands and their products Secure handling of MS Office - especially PowerPoint and Excel driving licence class B desirable Please note that your internship at this site must have a prescribed mandatory share.
