The requirements for the digital infrastructure of the Academy for Employees have increased considerably in recent years. In order to support this development, the body undertakes operational tasks in the field of IT services and campus management. The digital infrastructure is currently being operated and developed with the support of external service providers. This position is complemented by a further 50% position focusing on IT management and process development, as well as the third-party funding project “Digital Sovereignity for Art Colleges”, which works on a sustainable digital infrastructure of the Academy. You play a central role in the further development of the Campus Management landscape of the Kunstakademie Karlsruhe and actively shape their future orientation. You are responsible for managing the HISinOne Campus Management Software, including the implementation at the Academy of Arts and the support of existing modules. In cooperation with the Higher Education Service Centre (HSZ) and other external service providers, make sure that HISinOne's services and workflows meet the requirements of the Academy of Arts. You analyse existing processes in the field of study, teaching and administration and identify and maintain the appropriate services for implementation such as e.g. the ABK-Card, Digital Signature, e-Acts or e-Calculation. You maintain the maintenance and coordinate the further development of Intranet and the website of the Academy of Arts. You take over the 1st and 2nd level support for the above tasks and create the technical and user-oriented documentation.

You have a university degree qualifying for the higher service, ideally related to information and communication technologies (informatics, business informatics or a comparable subject). You have experience with high-school services such as HISinOne, especially with the EXA-VM and EXA-PM modules and know the digital university services environment. You have experience in introducing and supporting digital services and web applications in cooperation with external service providers. You have good communication skills in word and writing (English of advantage) and are able to easily and understand complex technical facts. You have the ability and willingness to work conceptually, analyze and develop workflows, document processes systematically You work independently and team-oriented. You have knowledge of IT security and data protection or are willing to acquire them.
