About the company

Our client is a pension fund based in NRW.

Development and implementation of a long-term investment strategy taking into account returns, risks and regulatory requirements Identification, assessment and management of risks to ensure the financial security of the fund Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and the proper implementation of reporting to supervisory authorities Ensuring proper accounting according to national accounting standards (e.g. HGB) as well as timely preparation of annual accounts Creation and implementation of concepts for the further development of performance plans and development of new products Development and monitoring of budgets, identification of cost-saving potentials and management of the fund’s operating costs Cooperation with auditors to ensure correct and risk-appropriate accounting Coordination with the Supervisory Board and external service providers and regular reporting to the BaFin

Successfully completed studies in financial management, business management, economy or a related area Deep knowledge of capital market strategies, risk management and asset allocation are essential. Experience with long-term investment forms such as bonds, real estate and alternative investments is beneficial Knowledge of accounting, accounting and tax assessment including knowledge of accounting rules such as HGB and IFRS Understanding the regulatory requirements, in particular the Insurance Supervision Act (VAG), the Pension Fund Investment Regulation and the relevant EU directives Experience in the management of service providers and cooperation with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax advisors, supervisory authorities and management
