Process Safety Specialist (m/f/d)

What awaits you: Implementation of the process security, leadership philosophy and foundations of Harbour Energy in the operating assets Promoting performance and continuous improvement in process security management Consultation and monitoring of process security management and awareness of major accident risks Central contact person for process security in cross-departmental projects Provision of expert input for risk assessments, including ALARP demonstration, Management of Change (MOC), exceptions and location-specific risk assessments Promoting a systematic MOC minimum set Optimization of the reporting and tracking of process security incidents Identification of critical safety and environmental activities, implementation of tasks and human error analyses and ensuring appropriate mitigation measures Development and monitoring of KPIs in process safety Assessment of the process safety competence of contractors as a basis for performance assessments Support in compliance with HSES initiatives and follow-up of DNV MAH Audit Reports Implementation and promotion of programmes to raise awareness of process safety and major accident risks

What we expect: Completed studies in a relevant technical field or corresponding well-founded professional experience in connection with technical training Professional experience as a Process/Technical Safety Engineer in the oil and gas industry Comprehensive knowledge in Bow-Tie models, process safety barriers, safety cases, performance standards and quantitative risk analyses (QRAs) Understanding process security principles and their integration into operational activities Experience in the creation and implementation of process safety trainings Practice in management-of-Change processes, including MOC registers and classification Expertise in operational risk assessments, deviations and risk mitigation measures International experience in different geographic environments of advantage Self-employed, flexible working and adaptability to changing requirements Impressed communication and relationship competence at all levels readiness for multi-day missions Ready-to-use and condition for the handling of the plants in Dieksand and on Mittelplate (including offshore fitness and offshore survival training). German fluent, English safe in word and writing
