The team With the Data & AI Factory we build the central, company-wide Data & AI platform of credit reform – scalable, cloud-native and future-proof. Our mission: to provide a platform where our teams can quickly, safely and efficiently develop and operate data analytics and AI solutions. We think end-to-end, integrate current technologies and frameworks, and combine innovation with clear principles of security and governance. In this context, we are looking for you as a (Junior) Data Engineer to implement new data products and solutions together with us, to continuously improve them and to operate them in a stable, safe and performant manner.

You design, implement and operate fully automated data pipelines (ETL, ELT, etc.) to efficiently process large amounts of structured and unstructured data with Azure databricks. You connect various internal (e.g. databases, APIs) and external data sources (e.g. APIs, web crawlers). You will ensure the technical-operative data quality and consistency in which you will implement suitable validation and cleansing processes. You monitor running data pipelines and processes and fix any errors during operation. You work closely with our Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Data Engineers and BI developers to provide the necessary data quickly, securely and efficiently. You document your work results structured and address-oriented.

You have completed your studies in computer science, data engineering, natural sciences or comparable discipline and first professional experience in data engineering. You have knowledge of the development and optimization of data pipelines (ETL, ELT) ideally with Spark and databricks. You have experience in Python, SQL, Spark etc. with clear focus on Data Engineering. You bring a good basic understanding for connecting databases, APIs etc. to a data platform. The implementation and compliance of high data protection and security requirements in a regulated environment are part of your daily work. You are constantly striving to learn new ones and to advance. You have very good knowledge of German and good English in word and writing.
