We are looking for a state-recognized social worker or social pedagogue for women's and children's shelters in the Zwickau district.

The task is to provide psychosocial advice and support for women and their children affected by acute domestic violence.

An important part is the information on and implementation of measures to ensure the safety of women and their children, for example the placement of a place in a women's shelter, the possibility to refer to violence from the common housing, anti-violence measures, etc.

Task areas are:

• psychosocial counselling of the affected women and their children
• Crisis intervention, assessment of the hazard situation and individual safety planning in domestic violence and stalking
• Cooperation and cross-income cooperation
• Cooperation with the Youth Office and other network partners in the help system
• Cooperation in municipal, country and nationwide specialist bodies
• Public and prevention work on the subject

Provisions:

• Completion as a state-approved social worker
• feminist and antiracist understanding and understanding of intersectional mechanisms
• willingness to act impartially
• knowledge of gender-specific violence
• Knowledge of social legislation (SGB II, SGB VIII, SGB XII) and family benefits
• strong organisational capacity, commitment and psychological resilience
• very good communication, conflict, empathy and team skills
• in exchange with the other colleagues, a telephone willingness to call the evenings and the weekend is necessary about every 5-6 weeks. This willingness is rewarded
