For the “Antennas Engineering” section, we are looking at the Ulm site at the next possible time HF development engineer for antenna elements/apertures (w/m/d) The Antennas Engineering department is responsible for the development of apertures and radiator elements for AESA antenna frontends. In addition, for SIGINT reconnaissance antenna systems, IFF (secondary radar) antennas and systems and individual antennas integrated into radars and electronic fighting systems on air, sea and land-based platforms.

Design, development and characterization of apertures for AESAs and single antenna elements in the microwave sector Participate in creating the requirements together with System Engineering and evaluation of technical feasibility Creating necessary documentation such as concept, design document, test procedures and test reports Accompanying the production of the Apertur subassembly, or individual antenna and support in integration activities in the AESA commissioning and testing of the antennas (-systems), as well as measurement-technical characterization of the HF parameters Working to verify all requirements and create verification reports Working with the qualification of the developed AESA including documentation

Complete university degree in electrical engineering in the field of radio-frequency technology, communications technology or comparable degree programme First relevant professional experience Experience in handling modern HF measurement technology including antenna measurement and modern HF simulation systems (CST MWStudio, HFSS, FEKO) Experience in the development, design and verification of AESA systems Programming skills in Matlab or Python Team and communication skills for cooperation in interdisciplinary project teams Innovative and creative way of working and thinking Independent and responsible work Flowing German and good English skills
