Head of IT Strategy (m/f/d)

You take over a central control and integration role as a strategic ''right hand'' and Sparring partner in the CIO and act as an interface between CIO, IT management, departments and external partners. You support the further development and implementation of the IT, digital and AI strategy and actively contribute to the design and modernization of the IT landscape and the business processes. You control and monitor central modernisation and change initiatives as well as large, strategic programs in the IT and digital sectors and ensure transparency, structure and effectiveness across the entire IT portfolio. You prepare strategy, management and decision-making meetings, accompany them in terms of content and ensure a structured follow-up. You analyse complex issues, guide well-founded decision templates, recommendations for action and scenarios and support budget, resource and prioritization decisions as well as risk and dependency management. You carry out market, trend and competition analyses, evaluate new technologies and solutions and derive strategic impulses from them. You create presentations and documents for top management and management and ensure clear, consistent and address-oriented communication. You take over special projects with high strategic and company-wide relevance.

You have completed their studies, for example in business informatics, business administration, computer science or comparable qualifications. You bring multi-year professional experience into strategy, transformation, program or consulting roles, ideally in the IT, technology or digital environment. You have proven experience in managing complex, strategic programs and change initiatives. You have very good knowledge of project and program management, controlling, governance issues and KPI-based control. You have a high affinity for digitalization, technology and artificial intelligence and are sure to deal with modern collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365. You communicate safely in German and English in word and writing. You bring the willingness to occasional missions.
