Accounting Manager Europe (m/f/d)

Responsibility for proper accounting and the timely creation of monthly and annual accounts of 2 companies in Germany and Ireland Responsible for annual and tax audits for the companies, contact persons for tax advisors and auditors and authorities Creation of revenue, personnel and department budgets for the region, including quarterly forums and detailed deviation analyses Creation of business evaluations, analyses and statistics Creation of management reports as well as presentations with key figures and key data, decision aids and recommendations for management Active participation in system upgrades and extensions, automation and digitization projects, optimization of financial processes Professional leadership of a small team in financial and accounting Active cooperation in a global finance team

Completion of a Business Studies or Completion as a Audited Account Holder IHK At least 5–7 years of experience in accounting at team management or management level, preferably in a global or international manufacturing company Ability to guide and promote a small team, excellent communication and team skills Very good knowledge and practical understanding of US GAAP, as well as local trade and tax regulations Very good knowledge of Oracle JDE or a comparable ERP system of advantage Very good handling with MS Excel (Power Bi of advantage) Experience in digitalization and ERP automation projects Language knowledge in German and English Hands-On” mentality, very good numerical understanding and a careful and independent way of working
