High-pressure gas meter test bench line (m/f/d)

The high-pressure gas meter test stand pigsar of Vier Gas Services GmbH & Co. KG is one of the world's leading test laboratories for the calibration and calibration of gas meters. At the Dorsten site, gas meters have been tested for over 30 years at pressures up to 65 bar and nominal widths up to DN 600. With the start-up of the modern closed-loop test stand in 2021, the test bench was further developed technologically and set up in a future-proof manner. pigsar stands internationally for the highest measurement accuracy, technical excellence and safety in operation. As of 01.01.2027, we are looking for a test stand (m/w/d), which assumes the overall technical, organizational and safety responsibility for the operation of the test stand and acts as a central contact person:in for national and international customers.

A job with effect: You take over the overall management of the pigsar high-pressure test stand at Vier Gas Services GmbH & Co. KG and run an interdisciplinary team of engineers, technicians and craftsmen. Responsibility: You perform the function as a test point manager: in the state-recognized GNW45 test site as well as conducting the calibration laboratory accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025 and are responsible for the safe operation of the gas systems. In best hands: You ensure that audits and calibrations are carried out for international customers in compliance with standards and regulations and are responsible for compliance with the commercial targets of the test bench. Impetus: You are responsible for the care, further development and continuous improvement of the quality management system. You also initiate and guide projects to increase operational safety, further development of measurement technology and to increase efficiency and process optimization. Unleash effect: You represent pigsar to the outside, both nationally and internationally, for example with customers, specialist events and conferences.

Best conditions: You have successfully completed your university studies in the field of electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or physics (Dipl.-Ing. or Master) or comparable ones and have ideally expanded your knowledge of economics. Comprehensive experience: You have at least five years of professional experience in planning, construction and/or operation of gas-carrying plants. Deep knowledge in measuring technology is desirable. For performance: You have a strong interest and willingness to work yourself independently and systematically into new technical topics – in particular gas measurement technology and calibration methods. Personal competence: You bring high readiness to change and can critically question and develop existing processes and technical solutions. You also have a high sense of responsibility for safety, quality and economy. Superb appearance: Your strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as your sovereign appearance towards customers and authorities are yours. Round thing: English knowledge in word and writing, as well as an international readiness to travel complete your profile. Also, a high personal presence at the Dorsten Examination Site is not a problem for you.
