In order to implement or maintain the offer standards of the target concept for rail passenger transport in Baden-Württemberg, a bus service can be offered as an alternative to rail transport – a so-called bus supplement service. As part of our team of competence network ÖPNV at the NVBW, you are significantly involved in shaping public transport through bus supplement concepts. In this responsibly position, you bridge between integrated traffic planning and practical implementation to ensure seamless mobility on site. Become a driver of the change of traffic and control the projects from the first idea to the implementation.

Your duties

Individually responsible planning and control of projects in the field of bus supplements Conceptual evaluation and planning of line profiles, demand potentials and the creation of sound roadmap concepts Development of financing arrangements and negotiation of contractual contents with municipal responsibilities Central stakeholder management and technical advice from the Ministry of Transport, the municipalities and other project partners Continuous monitoring and controlling of contractual obligations and evaluation of the demand development of existing traffic Content preparation of dates and convincing presentation of traffic concepts on schedule conferences Creation of cost calculations and cost-benefit analyses as a sound basis of decision Active development of standards and processes

Graduate degree with a focus on transport or a comparable subject First knowledge of transport planning and a strong understanding of transport policy relations Experience in handling project management methods for controlling complex and time-relevant processes Basic knowledge of procurement, tendering and contract law German language skills Safe appearance and the ability to present complex situations according to target groups High analytical competence as well as a structured and solution-oriented operation (especially in data management and documentation) Safe application of current MS Office products
