Consultant Administration Virtualization (m/f/d)

As administrator m/w/d within the special IT, you take responsibility for our virtualization platform in the server and client area as well as the central data backup platform You strengthen an interdisciplinary team of administrators and are responsible for providing, operating and developing the virtualization and data backup platform as well as the associated tool landscape You analyze technical and technical requirements, translate them into technical implementation concepts and work them in close cooperation with the Service Owner, the team, internal customers and suppliers You develop, implement and improve the platform in terms of functions, automation, security and performance As an expert for the platform m/w/d, you will consult relevant stakeholders specifically with regard to the technology used and see yourself as an enabler m/w/d for your systems You will ensure the availability and quality of the services you are responsible for - for this purpose, you will ensure second-level support and participate in a changing additionally remunerated readiness

You have successfully completed a study or a specialist training in the near field of IT, ideally bring detectable practical experience in the construction and operation of virtualization and data backup platforms, preferably based on VMware and Veeam products, as well as knowledge about the associated IT processes in high-availability data center operation with You are inspiring to build, operate and develop a modern infrastructure platform and are open to new technology developments. The continuous development of your knowledge is important to you. Basic knowledge of the automation of infrastructure processes complete your profile You are interested in the technical implementation of new concepts and ideas and continuously develop our IT infrastructure.
