FinOps Solution Manager (m/f/d)

You create transparency through infrastructure, platform, cloud and XaaS costs and make cost developments understandable for IT, management and specialist areas. You develop our FinOps and IT Cost Management Framework and establish clear standards, processes and governance structures. You identify cost drivers and optimization potentials in a targeted manner and conduct specific measures, such as rightsizing, optimization of usage, licensing optimization or cost allocation. For new IT services, technologies and investments, you will set up business cases, cost-effectiveness analyses and policy templates. Budget planning, forecasts and investment decisions are supported with resilient data, KPIs, reports and dashboards. In cooperation with IT, controlling, purchasing, compliance, departments and external partners, you evaluate the financial impact of technical decisions.

You bring a completed study of economic informatics, computer science, economics, economic engineering or a comparable qualification. Experience in IT Cost Management, IT Controlling, Cloud Cost Management, FinOps, IT Financial Management or in a comparable interface function will distinguish you. Modern IT infrastructures, cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud and IT service models are familiar to you. Budget planning, forecasting, cost-effectiveness analyses, business cases and data-based reports are part of your professional repertoire. A structured, analytical and solution-oriented way of working as well as communication strength, self-initiative and very good German knowledge in word and writing complete your profile. Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the KRITIS environment is advantageous.

This body is remunerated with the remuneration group 12 in accordance with the collective agreement for utilities (TV-V). This corresponds to a gross annual salary of around 72,000 – 98,000 euros (depending on professional experience and qualification).
