Data Protection Manager (m/f/d)

Operational control: Support of the data protection officer in all operational data protection topics and implementation of our data protection strategy Central contact person: First contact point and competent advisor of our specialist areas for data protection issues in the daily business Technology Focus: Analysis, Evaluation and Release of IT Systems, Digital Business Processes and AI Applications with regard to their Compliance with the GDPR and other relevant laws Proactive design: independent identification of data protection-relevant fields of action, introduction of suggestions for improvement and active driving of data protection topics and projects Documentation: Maintenance of the directorate of processing activities (VVT) and internal policies and process documentation, technical preparation and review of data protection documents Risk Management: Coordination of the processing of data subject requests, the implementation and documentation of data protection impact assessments (DSFA) and risk assessments Training: Conception and implementation of training to raise awareness among employees on data protection Cooperation: Working together on data protection topics in the Group

These are your qualifications Education: A relevant study with completion or comparable qualifications, certifications in data protection or information security would be advantageous Expertise in data protection: professional experience in data protection law, knowledge of relevant laws and their application, knowledge of technical data protection (e.g. cloud applications) Passion for technology: You have a deep understanding of IT relationships, IT processes as well as IT security and have a strong curiosity about the potentials and risks of artificial intelligence at the interface to data protection Proactive mentality: You recognize tasks and go to them. Your independent and solution-oriented way of working distinguishes you Good communication skills: You can clearly and understand complex facts, are a team player and value interdisciplinary cooperation Good English skills desirable Safe handling of all Microsoft 365 applications and the willingness to work into other applications (including Jira, Google Services, more software)
