Advanced measurement technology, digital data acquisition and evaluation are guarantors for the operational reliability of components and systems. For this purpose, the approximately 100 employees of the TÜV Rheinland Materialprüfung GmbH are employed day by day. In addition to the usual test methods, special tests such as, for example, hollow shaft tests are also carried out in pump storage units. We use state-of-the-art ultrasound testing methods with advanced phased array technology as well as endoscopes that allow precise 3D phase measurement. As a senior material examiner*in you take over the selection, execution and evaluation of advanced and complex testing activities. They carry out standard tests and complex testing activities on materials with non-destructive testing methods. They shall select appropriate testing methods and testing techniques taking into account the limits for the application of the test procedure. They prepare test objects and test equipment and prepare test instructions in accordance with applicable rules. They carry out inspections at local or laboratory customers according to standards and regulations and prepare evaluation and documentation of test results in written form (test reports). You take over inspection activities according to DIN EN ISO 9712.
