As part of our development team, you work on the design and realization of modern embedded hardware solutions for industrial applications. You combine your technical know-how with practical experience to develop reliable, efficient and scalable systems.

Development, simulation and design of analog and digital circuits for embedded and industrial applications Conception and integration of single board computers (SBCs), system-on-modules (SoMs) and Raspberry Pi-based solutions Construction, commissioning and validation of prototypes as well as performance testing Development of communication interfaces based on Ethernet and RS485, including support for industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profibus and Profinet Selection and qualification of suitable electronic components taking into account industrial requirements EMC-compliant design, testing and certification monitoring Close cooperation with software development, mechanical design, manufacturing and supply chain to bring products from prototype to standard Support for customer- and application-specific adaptations and optimization with regard to costs, production and testability Participation in the further development of our open-source hardware platforms and internal development guidelines

Complete study of electrical engineering, communications technology, microelectronics or a comparable qualification Multiannual professional experience (approximately 7–10 years) in hardware development, ideally in the industrial environment Knowledge of the development of mixed signal circuits (MCU, OpAmps, AD/DA, SPI, CAN, etc.) Experience in PCB design (switching diagram and layout, e.g. with Altium Designer or KiCad) Practical experience in debugging, signal and current flow analysis as well as in the handling of measurement and test technology (oscilloscope, power analyzer etc.) Secure understanding of EMC-compliant design, signal integrity and relevant industrial standards Experience in handling industrial communication interfaces (Ethernet, RS485) and protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, MQTT, EtherCAT, EtherNet/IP, Profibus and Profinet Knowledge of Design for Manufacturing (DfM), Design for Assembly (DfA) and Design for Testability (DfT) Analytical way of thinking, structured working and strong team spirit Interest in open source hardware and modern embedded technologies Very good German knowledge and good English skills
