In an interdisciplinar team, they are designed to simulate complex high-dynamic systems of air communication. For this purpose, you derive mathematical descriptions of the physical behaviour of subcomponents of the systems, convert them into sim­lation models and evaluate them. These models are integrated into a total simulation in addition to tactical algorithms. In this way, you carry out simulations with computational clusters and evaluate the results in terms of system performance. The support for the conception and the construction of sim­lation frameworks completes your diverse range of activities.

The basis for this position is a completed study in the field of mechanical engineering, air and space engineering, technical engineering and electrical engineering, or in a comparable scientific or engineering discipline with the focus on modelling, simulation and system dynamics, preferably with doctoral studies. They are inspiring for complex tech­nical systems and are able to provide a single professional experience. In addition, you have deeper knowledge of modelling and simulation methods and the development of complex simulation programmes. They will give us MATLAB / Simulink as well as another programming language, such as C++ or Python.
