As a company-internal consultant within the IT Group function, you will support the development and adaptation (Customizing & Development) in the SupplyChain environment within the SAP ERP worldwide for the ZEISS Business Units. You are part of the technical SAP team, with system responsibility, the creative bridge to the departments and provide support for the SAP key users of various international departments and, if necessary, manage external IT partners.

The corporate IT inbound-to-outbound team has its home in the depths of SAP logistics processes and consists of 15+ international senior consultants. It is responsible for design and operation of the ZEISS internal and external logistics processes in the global ERP system and in interaction with external service providers. We combine individual customer requirements with outstanding solutions and modern IT architecture.

Your role Be the contact person in the 2nd and 3rd level support for our internal customers.

Design interfaces between different systems to optimally support our business processes.

Develop solutions to resolve recurring errors and contribute to continuous improvement.

Look for workarounds for current problems and perform thorough root analysis.

Implement and test bug fixes and extensions to ensure system stability.

Document solutions and create training documents as well as instructions for users.

Take an active part in larger IT projects and take on the role of an expert. Expert and subproject manager Project manager.

We appreciate your successfully completed study of (economic) informatics, economic engineering, mathematics, physics or equivalent training, as it forms the basis for your well-founded expertise.

You have good knowledge of logistical processes in the SAP environment and have first experience in customizing in SAP SD, SAP MM or SAP LE-TRA.

If you are closely familiar with SAP technologies such as IDOC, API and SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF), you can debugging, read and evaluate ABAP source code; ideally, you also have experience in ABAP development (error fixes and changes).

You bring a certain readiness to travel and very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing to successfully communicate in an international environment.
