Our institute is looking for a

Head of Administration

• Head of Administration (Financial, Personal, Purchasing and Material Management, General Services and Home Technology) with currently 41 employees at the two institute locations in Heidelberg and Heilbronn
• Head of General Services
• Control of financial and accounting, controlling, budgeting, budget implementation, budget management and contracting, procurement and procurement
• Ensuring compliance with all legal, application and MPG internal requirements in financial, personnel and procurement matters
• Planning, organisation, coordination and optimization of all administrative processes
• Processing of revision matters and pre-judicial processing of legal cases
• Consultation and support of the Institute's management in matters of application and labour law and in administrative and organisational matters
• Representation of the Institute to third parties and the General Administration in all non-scientific matters

QUALIFICATION

• Completed academic studies (Master) of economic, legal or administrative sciences or a comparable qualification
• Reliable professional experience as a manager in the science management of the public service or in comparable areas of administration or business
• Knowledge in the field of administrative, financial, labour and collective law as well as in the household and accounting of the public service
• Superb management personality with communication and enforcement capability and multi-year experience in management positions
• High technical and social competence
• High level of commitment, organisational talent, team spirit and decision-making
• Very good knowledge of German and English in word and writing
