The aim of the master thesis is to examine innovative vehicle and brake concepts in the context of the overall vehicle development for commercial vehicles of the future. In this context, a feasibility study will be drawn up, which will take into account both the diverse development aspects and the future legal framework. In addition, the aspect of sustainability should be given great importance. A dedicated and creative personality is being sought, who wants to work in interdisciplinary topics and get to know the challenges of the overall vehicle assessment. This exciting task presupposes basic knowledge of (usual) vehicle technology. In addition, mechatronic knowledge is of particular advantage in the field of mechanics, electrical engineering and electronics, as well as a strong willingness to develop and develop innovative vehicle concepts. Tools for the large-scale installation of components and subsystems shall be designed and used. In addition, methodological approaches are to be selected in a meaningful manner in order to enable an assessment and to provide decision-making aids in the event of conflicts of objectives. THE BRINGS Bachelor degree or higher in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or a comparable degree course Experience in the field of vehicle technology Experience with MATLAB & Simulink and/or similar simulation environments knowledge of English and German Remarkable: are a start-up mentality, i.e. enthusiasm, motivation and pragmatism, and the willingness to question the status quo with new ideas and perspectives Additional information: Of course, without formalities, we are not.
