The Blind Institute Foundation is a non-profit foundation of public law based in Würzburg – active in the social sector since 1853. At seven locations in Bavaria and Thuringia, around 2,800 employees from 55 professions accompany over 5,500 blind and visually impaired people, especially with multiple disabilities.

As a staff member for concept and personnel development, you support the Management Board at the Würzburg site in implementing the foundation goals and are the interface of conceptual work and resulting personnel development steps in the Blindeninstitut Foundation.

Your duties

• Support of the Board of Management in the implementation of the Foundation objectives
• Organisation and moderation of non-governmental working groups and project groups
• Responsibility for planning and implementation
• Planning and implementation of personnel development measures, including the management development programme
• Processing of strategic policy issues from the fields of education and personnel
• Management responsibility for a small team

Your profile

• Complete study in the field of special education, social work, social economy, economic psychology or comparable
• Ideally multiannual management experience and practical experience in integration aid
• Engaged, communicative personality with great potential for innovation, skills of moderation and experience in supporting development processes and project management
• Foundation knowledge and experience in project work
• Knowledge of current educational and special educational discourses, for example in the context of inclusion and participation, social law and social policy
• Class B driving licence and readiness to travel and time flexibility during work
