Tasks

• You develop software or algorithms for embedded (real-time) systems that are used in (semi) autonomous underwater vehicles as well as their control and testing equipment. • You accompany the entire development process within a team: • Requirements analysis, design of software designs and functions and their programming • Review, support integration, testing and quality assurance • Development and maintenance of existing software • New development of software • In software development, you work closely with our internal interfaces from the engineering system, mechanical design and electronics development. • You use contemporary development tools and development methods. • After successful integration, a deepening in different areas is possible for you: software architecture, RTOS concepts, hardware-related development as well as realization andamp; Verification of FPGA-based SW components in VHDL.

Profile

• You have completed your studies (Bachelor/Master/Diplom) in the field of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Mechatronics or a comparable course of study. • You have already been able to gain first professional experience in a similar position. • You bring good knowledge of C, C++ and how to use RTOS, Embedded Linux. • You know about development methods as well as test methods and tools or are ready to acquire this knowledge. • You have very good German and English skills in word and writing. • You bring the willingness to occasional national and international missions. • In addition to your team spirit and communication skills, the passion for your work stands out. • If you do not have a successfully completed degree, you can compensate for this through relevant professional experience or further qualification.
