Building Manager – Research Infrastructure (m/f/d)

This position offers you the opportunity to maintain a modern research new building independently, to actively shape processes and to ensure the smooth operation of a sophisticated technical infrastructure.

Core responsibility Ensuring an economic and fail-safe building operation Planning, coordination and monitoring of testing, maintenance and maintenance Maintenance of technical building equipment and monitoring of malfunctions and emergencies Coordination and cooperation Control of external service providers, including performance descriptions, awards and audits Provision of measurement values, documents and information for internal and external bodies Close cooperation with the corresponding interfaces in IMD‐4 and in Jülich Design & Development Identification and implementation of optimization potentials in building operations Compilation of economic analysis and decision-making Consultation of scientific users: in the case of reconstructions or changes in building operations Support for events and provision of media technology

We are looking for a person who combines technical know-how with a reliable, solution-oriented working style. You like to work independently, communicate clearly with different stakeholders and take responsibility for a smooth building operation.

This will bring you Completed studies (Bachelor or Master) in the field of facility management, building, supply or electrical engineering or a comparable discipline Professional experience in object or building management, ideally in complex building structures Knowledge of management, testing and maintenance of technical installations Joy of responsible work in a scientific environment In addition, we wish: Experience in controlling external service providers Knowledge of relevant regulations (BetrSichV, TRBS, DGUV) Safety in the creation of performance and demand profiles
