Together with your ESG Service Group team, check the ESG reports of our client:inside and accompany them into the future of sustainability reporting. So you are part of an important social task and create trust in the ever-important ESG key figures and information.

You take over the audit management in the assessment of sustainability information from large, internationally oriented companies and, together with your team, examine exciting topics such as CO2 emissions, Circular Economy key figures or Diversity & Inclusion management concepts. As project manager:includes our client:in the operational implementation of the exciting regulatory requirements from the EU-Taxonomy or the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). For example, you support our client: within their path to integrated reporting of financial information and ESG information. You are responsible for the complex topics of exam projects and take over communication with our client: inside as well as planning and organizational tasks. You are in close contact with a wide range of specialist departments of the client: you are also working with colleagues from other KPMG departments – nationally and internationally. During the exam, you will use an innovative and digital exam approach and continuously develop the examination of the future together with your team. (Senior) Consultant (w/m/d) Audit / ESG-Assurance / Sustainability Reporting You will be with us with a good degree in economics, economic engineering, economic informatics, natural sciences, environmental sciences or law. You bring at least two years of professional experience in auditing, ideally focusing on auditing sustainability reporting. Your well-founded knowledge of common audit standards (ISAE 3000) as well as requirements from non-financial reporting (e.g. standards of GRI, TCFD, NFRD, UN Guiding Principles for Human Rights or EU Taxonomy) or from financial reporting (IFRS, HGB, US-GAAP) are the key features. You want to make a contribution to society, create confidence and constantly develop your environment. Your great strengths include your quick understanding, your affinity to numbers and your structured way of working. You are also a:e real:r Teamplayer:in. We require a secure handling of the current MS Office applications (in particular PowerPoint and Excel). You have knowledge of German or English with regard to C1 level and have the necessary flexibility in the examination and consulting environment.
