Your mission As a senior software engineer, you are shaping the digitalization of our R&D landscape. Your focus is on the development and integration of modern front-end, middleware and back-end services to drive the automation and digitization of our laboratories and test facilities. With your technical know-how and experience, you set architectural standards, establish best practices and sustainably shape development across multiple projects. Your tasks

You develop modern web applications in Azure Cloud and Plant Infrastructure. You implement demanding requirements along the entire software development cycle - from architecture to development to deployment - according to the motto: You build it, you it. You are introducing new ideas to actively promote the digital transformation of our R&D landscape. You define standards and develop best practices that enable sustainable and scalable software development. You actively shape the development process and support your colleagues through mentoring and sharing knowledge and experience.

Your profile

Complete studies in computer science, software development, engineering or a comparable qualification. Multiannual professional experience as a full-stack developer with sound knowledge in microservice, container and cloud architectures as well as related technologies. Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS and Angular. Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud services. Experience with relational and non-relational databases, ideally complemented by knowledge in time series databases (e.g. InfluxDB). Safe handling of Linux and Bash and ideally experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. German and English skills
