Team Lead Corporate Accounting (m/f/d)

Professional and disciplinary leadership, development and promotion of the creditor and debitor accounting team

Motivation and further development of employees and the promotion of a performance-oriented, value-adding and team-wide cooperation

Management of resources, capacities and priorities, and ensuring efficient allocation of tasks within the team

Implementation of employee talks and agreement and follow-up of development and performance targets

Responsibility for the proper execution of all creditor and debitorian transactions

Ensuring smooth national and international payment including intercompany transactions

coordination and cooperation with internal and external interfaces and relevant specialist areas

Technical contact and Sparring partner for the team in complex questions

independent expert assessment of balance sheet and turnover tax issues and ensuring their correct implementation

Participation in monthly and annual accounts

Support in creating meaningful evaluations, analyses and reports

Management and support of projects in the field of financial accounting

Active development, standardization and optimization of existing processes

Conception, control and implementation of digitalization and automation initiatives in the accounting environment

Successfully completed studies of business management with a focus on accounting or finance, or alternatively a commercial training with further training to/from balance sheet accounting (IHK)

At least 10 years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in a larger medium or international business environment

At least five years of leadership experience in the professional and disciplinary management of teams

Knowledge in Accounting and in Accounting and Sales Tax Issues

Impressed ability to motivation, development and promotion of employees

Safe handling of IT systems and digital processes

Routinized use of Microsoft Office as well as experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP R/3

High affinity for digitization and for optimising and automating processes

Structured, analytical and solution-oriented operation

High level of autonomy, sense of responsibility and resilience

Impressed communication and team skills as well as the ability to convey complex issues to address

Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English in word and writing
