Number: MER000426R As part of the research and development of Mercedes-Benz Cars, we shape the future of our automotive generations. With our Mercedes-Benz Operating System (MB.OS) and agile software development processes, we are already developing innovations that will secure our technological leadership in the future. Our area takes care of the integration of all control units and their SW components into the entire vehicle. With our department, we make a significant contribution with tools and end-to-end solutions for the automation of test, integration and validation tasks. Through consistent automation of the entire vehicle integration with current software technologies and DevOps principles, we achieve a considerable reduction in cycle and error recovery times in the development process. In our team we focus on standardized, scaled test environments for central control units and maximum test automation in the individual software integration steps. Our MTTF (Managed Test Target Farm) offers a fully automated use of various control units in CI/CD processes via the cloud and allows developers and testers to work at any time with real hardware and telemetry data from anywhere in the world. Rolling out new software on test benches (PCs and control units)

Application of various measurement and analysis tools

Exchange of hardware small parts at the test stands

Support for MTTF users onboarding

Support for internal DevOps and Product Owner teams

Maintenance of documentation & creation of reports

Software programming in agile development environment

Application and Development of AI Agents

The activity can begin from June 2026.

Course in the field of technical computer science, computer science, software engineering, mechatronics or comparable study programme

Secure knowledge of German and English in word and writing

Safe handling of MS-Office, Jira and Confluence

Commitment and strong team skills

Analytical way of thinking and structured working

Skills desired in Python, Shell, Java, Linux
