The place

Work and education e.V. is a non-profit educational institution that supports people in different situations of life through advice, education and social education.

In the project “Agencies in Hessen – Bridge for newly migrated families” we accompany newly migrated families at the Gießen site at the arrival in Germany, the orientation in the social and educational system and the establishment of new perspectives.

For the implementation of this project we are looking for a pedagogical specialist to strengthen our team.

Your tasks

• Networking and Public Relations
• Consulting and support
• Requesting address of the target group to contact difficult groups directly in their residences or accommodation
• Intensive cooperation with existing support and counselling services, as well as with associations and friends working for the target group
• Education of the project team and organizational preparatory work
• Analysis of the IST situation in the Commune
• Collection and systematization of existing offers in a network card
• Training of consultants and the establishment of advisory bodies
• the creation of training opportunities for employees of the local offers and aid structures frequently sought by the Council-seekers
• Regular evaluation and verification
