Intern Rubber Technology (m/f/x)

Contract type: limited to up to 6 months Working time: Full time

For the Technology Department of Polymer and Adhesive Architecture at the tesa headquarters in Norderstedt, we are looking for an Internal. From day one, you will be part of exciting and challenging tasks. You will co-develop innovative and sustainable adhesive components that include natural and rubbers, resins, and the polymerization of polymers polyurethane, formulations, and coatings with solvent-based and hotmelt technologies.  You will test laboratory adhesive samples and prototypes using various chemical and physical measurement methods (adhesion, cohesion, tackiness, tensile testing, etc.).  You will assist with customer-specific application tests. You will document, interpret, and discuss the results of your developments in appropriate form with the project teams.

You are an enrolled student, ideally in the field of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering and can provide an overview of your university grades You have experience in the laboratory, especially with polymer synthesis, formulation, and analytical testing.  You possess confident English language skills, German skills are balancing.  You act with initiative, take responsibility, and show flexibility.  You have knowledge of MS Office software search as Excel, Outlook and Teams. You demonstrate excellent teamwork and communication skills You are available for six months starting August 1st of 2026
